As my first entry I figured it aught to be a good one. I went for two runs on Christmas this year. I stuck with my training program and did a 40 minute run in the morning and an 80 minute run in the evening.
There wasn't to much special about the morning run. It was an easy 4.6 and I wore a Santa cap to get me in the festive mood. But a few people waved and honked so I started thinking, "Why not go all out?"
With Chikako's help, I put together the best Santa costume I cold on Christmas day.

I was ready for my evening run. I ran from my apartment and met up with family and friends at Sam's Cafe in Kitanakagusuku, right outside of Legion Gate, Camp Foster.

The run was terrific. I seen some friends on the way, some out of coincidence and some because I stopped at their house.

During the run some japanese children started to chase after me. It was pretty terrific. I just enjoyed the moment and put in an easy 10.4.
The day was good and I felt great. Very sunny and I got a few chuckles from the 1000 or so people that saw me.
